“My daughter is about to finish up Saxon 1. She is 6 years old and would be in Kindergarten if she were enrolled in public school. She learned to read at 4, so last year we did Kindergarten and this year all her work has been on a first grade level.
My son (who is 8) is just finishing up Teaching Textbooks 3. I had planned on using this for her when she completed Saxon 1, but now I am having doubts about that. I feel that it would be too much for her at age 6. My question is this…can anyone recommend a good program for in between Saxon 1 and Teaching Textbooks 3? I honestly don’t love Saxon and can hardly stand the thought of doing another year of it.”
